The Pod is a small, single-storey building on our farm in Babcary. It's detached and sits in its own courtyard.
It's for two people. The space is open plan. There's a king-size bed at one end, a sofa and a kitchen area in the middle, and a shower room at the other end. It's got underfloor heating throughout, so it's warm. The bed is raised up on a platform. The shower is electric and works well.
Outside is a private, enclosed courtyard with a hot tub and a firepit. You look out over fields. We have sheep and horses in the surrounding paddocks.
It's a proper glamping setup. You've got a full-sized oven and fridge, and good wifi. Bedding and towels are included. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
The village pub, The Red Lion, is about a mile's walk down the lane. It's good, they do food.
Yeovilton's Fleet Air Arm Museum is a 15-minute drive. Wells and its cathedral are about 25 minutes away. Glastonbury Tor is roughly half an hour. Cheddar Gorge is maybe 40 minutes. Bath is a bit further, about an hour's drive.
