The Cottage
The Cottage is in South Barrow, Somerset. It’s on the outskirts of the village, so it's quiet. You’re on a farm track, looking out at fields.
It's a single-storey barn conversion. Sleeps four in two bedrooms. One bathroom. It’s got a 4 Star rating, so it’s comfortable and well-equipped. It’s all on the ground floor, which is useful.
There’s underfloor heating in the bathroom and a wood burner in the living area. The wood burner is nice in the colder months. You have your own enclosed garden and a private hot tub.
The owner has a smallholding of about ten acres. You’re welcome to walk around it.
A shop and a pub are about a mile and three quarters away in the village. The pub does food.
For things to do, Haynes Motor Museum is very close. The Fleet Air Arm Museum at Yeovilton is about a fifteen minute drive. For a proper day out, Stourhead is half an hour away. Wells and Glastonbury are also within half an hour. The coast, like Lyme Regis, is about an hour.
Facilities: there's a dishwasher, WiFi, TV, on-site parking. Bedding and towels are included. It's wheelchair accessible. You can bring up to two dogs.
