The Cottage South Barrow

The Cottage is in South Barrow, Somerset. It's on the edge of the village, so it's quiet. You look out over fields.

It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and one bathroom. Everything's on one level, which is good if steps are a problem. There's underfloor heating in the bathroom and a wood burner in the living room for colder nights. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well kept.

The garden is enclosed, which is handy if you're bringing dogs. You can have up to two. There's a private hot tub out there too.

You've got about ten acres of the owner's fields to walk in right from the gate. The nearest shop and pub are about a mile and three quarters away in the next village.

For days out, the Haynes Motor Museum is very close. The Fleet Air Arm Museum at Yeovilton is about a fifteen minute drive. Montacute House is nearby, and Stourhead is maybe half an hour away.

Other places within about thirty minutes include Glastonbury Tor, Wells, and Clarks Village in Street. The coast at West Bay, for the Jurassic Coast, is about forty-five minutes.

What's here: there's a dishwasher, washing machine, TV, and wifi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. It's wheelchair accessible.
