The Barn
The Barn is one of a pair of converted barns on the edge of South Barrow. It's all on one level, which makes it straightforward. You get your own garden and patio area. The views are over fields.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. That's handy. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. There's underfloor heating in the bathrooms.
The place is in a quiet spot. You're between Castle Cary and Yeovil. The nearest shop and pub are about a mile and three quarters away. Driving is easiest.
If you're looking for things to do, there's a lot within half an hour. The Haynes Motor Museum is famous for the car collection. The Fleet Air Arm Museum at Yeovilton is good if you like planes. For a walk, you can use the ten acres around the barns.
Montacute House and Stourhead are both National Trust properties and worth a visit. Glastonbury Tor is about twenty minutes' drive. Wells Cathedral is maybe twenty-five minutes.
In terms of facilities: you've got a dishwasher, a TV, WiFi, and parking right outside. The garden is enclosed. You can bring up to two dogs. Bedding and towels are included.
