Plum Cottage is in Castle Cary. It’s on a quiet street a few minutes’ walk from the town centre.
It’s a two bedroom cottage, sleeps three. One king-size room and one single. It has a 4 Star rating, which means it’s comfortable and well looked after. There’s one bathroom upstairs with a roll-top bath and a shower over it.
The garden is tiered, so it’s on different levels. It gets the sun. There’s a summerhouse at the top, which is a nice spot to sit. The entrance is wheelchair accessible, just so you know.
The town has shops, pubs, and places to eat. You can walk into the centre easily. There’s a park up the hill and fields beyond if you want a stroll.
Haynes Motor Museum is about four miles away. It’s good for a rainy day.
Within half an hour you can get to Glastonbury, Yeovil, or Shaftesbury. Glastonbury Tor is worth the walk for the views. There are a few National Trust places nearby, like Montacute House and Lytes Cary Manor.
Facilities: WiFi, TV, washing machine, bedding and towels are included. The garden is enclosed. You can bring one dog.
