Stags Cottage is in Babcary, Somerset. It's a new build, finished in 2022, so everything is modern and clean. It's on the owner's land, down a private drive with an electric gate, so it feels very quiet and secure.
It sleeps four people. Two bedrooms, both with king size beds and their own en-suite bathrooms. There are TVs in the bedrooms and robes provided. The stairs are straight and not too steep.
The main living space is open plan. Kitchen, dining area, and lounge all together. It's well-equipped, with a dishwasher and a washing machine in a separate utility room. There's underfloor heating throughout.
Outside is an enclosed garden with a lawn, a seating area, and a hot tub. You can walk directly out onto the owner's woodland, which is over a hundred acres.
The local pub is about a mile away, in the village. It serves food.
For days out, you're well placed. The Fleet Air Arm Museum at Yeovilton is close. Wells and its cathedral are about twenty minutes by car. Cheddar Gorge is roughly half an hour. Glastonbury Tor is a similar drive. Bath is further, about an hour away.
Facilities: everything listed is included. Bedding, towels, WiFi, parking. No pets.
