Pippin Lodge
Pippin Lodge is ours. It's one of four safari lodges on our site in Coxbridge, next to the Somerset Levels.
The lodge sleeps six. Three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's comfortable and well-finished. It's all on one level, with wide doors, so it works well for wheelchairs or if stairs are difficult.
The main room is open plan: kitchen, dining area, and sitting area. There's a wood burner that heats the whole place nicely. The sofa and chairs are just normal comfy furniture. Each lodge has its own veranda with a barbecue and some outdoor furniture.
The beds have proper cotton sheets. Towels are included. The kitchen has what you'd need. There's a shower in the bathroom.
You can bring two dogs. There's parking right next to each lodge.
On the site, there's a games room with a pool table and table tennis. There's also a communal area in the orchard with a wood-fired pizza oven and a fire pit. We provide some bicycles you can borrow to go along the local tracks.
Glastonbury is about ten minutes away by car. You can see the Tor from some spots. The Somerset Levels are right here for walking or cycling. Cheddar Gorge and Wells are within half an hour. The Mendip Hills are close too, for longer walks.
