Pippin Lodge is in Coxbridge. It’s a safari lodge on a site with three others, set in a field on the Somerset Levels. You’re about ten minutes' drive from Glastonbury.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It’s got a 4 Star rating. The main space is open plan, with a kitchen, lounge, and a woodburner. Everything’s on the ground floor and it’s wheelchair accessible. There’s a private veranda with a barbecue.
The site has a communal games room with a pool table and table tennis. There’s also a shared area in the orchard with a wood-fired pizza oven and a firepit. You can borrow bikes. The field is a wildflower meadow with paths through it.
Glastonbury Tor is the obvious thing to do. Cheddar Gorge and the Mendip Hills are both about a 20-minute drive. For a longer walk, the Somerset Levels are right on your doorstep.
You can take up to two dogs. Bedding and towels are provided. There's parking next to the lodge.
