This is Braeburn Lodge. It's one of four Safari Lodges on a small glamping estate just outside Coxbridge. It's right next to the Somerset Levels, so the views are very flat. We're about ten minutes drive from Glastonbury.
The lodge sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's well put together, it's clean, and it's comfortable. Everything is on one level. The entrance and the main living area are wheelchair accessible.
Inside, it's open plan. The kitchen has what you need. There's a woodburner for cooler nights. The furniture is decent. The bedding is included and it's good quality.
Outside, you have your own veranda with a barbecue. The lodge looks out over a wildflower meadow. There are a few apple and pear trees around. It's quiet.
There's a shared games room with a pool table and table tennis. Further into the orchard there's a wood-fired pizza oven, a fire pit, and some seating. You can borrow bicycles if you want them.
You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking right by your lodge.
For things to do, Glastonbury is closest. The Tor is the obvious walk. Cheddar Gorge and the Mendip Hills are about half an hour away by car. Wells Cathedral is about twenty minutes. The coast at Burnham-on-Sea is twenty-five minutes.
