Old Farm
Old Farm is a barn conversion just outside Southwood, near Glastonbury. It's detached, down a private driveway, with its own garden. There are views across fields.
It sleeps up to six, but there are only two proper bedrooms. Both are doubles with their own bathrooms. There's also a sofa bed in the sitting room for two more people if you need it. It's a 5 Star place, which means it's been done to a high standard and has things like an electric vehicle charger. It's also wheelchair accessible at the entrance.
The main space is open plan: kitchen, dining, and living area. There's a wood burner for cooler evenings. The kitchen has what you'd expect: dishwasher, washing machine, fridge-freezer. The sitting room has big windows. The garden has outdoor seating and a BBQ.
You can walk straight out into the countryside from the door. Glastonbury is about a 15 minute drive. Street is the same, which has the Clarks Village outlet shopping. For a day out, the coast at Burnham-on-Sea or Weston-super-Mare is about 30 minutes by car. There are several National Trust properties within an hour, like Barrington Court or Lyte's Cary Manor.
Facilities are all included: bedding, towels, wifi, parking. You can bring up to two dogs.
