The Cobbles

The Cobbles is a converted barn in Sticklynch. It's one of a pair, semi-detached. You get your own terraced area out the front. There's a shared lawn up the steps, which is fully fenced in. It's a peaceful spot, just fields and the lane.

It sleeps six. Four bedrooms, one bathroom. Two of the bedrooms are up in the old hayloft, so they're galleried. The stairs to them are a bit steep, like a ship's ladder. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable, with oak floors and big patio doors that let in a lot of light.

There's a shop four miles away and a pub two miles. The Monarchs Way footpath goes right past the front gate if you want to start walking from the door.

Glastonbury is a few miles away. You can climb the Tor for the views, or visit the Abbey and the town. Wells is about twenty minutes drive, for the cathedral and the Bishop's Palace. Clarks Village in Street is the same distance for shopping.

Further out, within half an hour or so, you've got Wookey Hole caves, Cheddar Gorge, and the Fleet Air Museum. Bath and Bristol are both under an hour away if you fancy a day in the city.

The place has a washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. On site parking. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
