Pippin
This is Pippin. It's in East Compton, Somerset. A converted summer house, detached, in the grounds of the main house. It's a one-bedroom place for two people.
The front is covered in roses in the summer. Inside, it's all open plan on the ground floor. Vaulted ceiling with oak beams. There's a wood burner for cooler evenings. The kitchen has what you need. The bedroom has a double bed and an en-suite with a walk-in shower.
You have your own private garden. There's a lawn, a gravelled seating area, and a hot tub. There's a shared tennis court on the grounds if you fancy it, and you can walk down to the lake to look at the wildlife.
It's a 5 Star property, so it's well finished. The facilities are good. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV, parking. Bedding and towels are included.
Shepton Mallet is close by for shops and places to eat. Kilver Court has a designer outlet. Glastonbury is about a fifteen minute drive. The Tor is there and the town has its own character. The festival site at Worthy Farm is a mile from the cottage.
Street is nearby for Clarks Village. The Bath and West Showground is five minutes away by car, they have events all year. You can drive to Cheddar Gorge or Wookey Hole caves in under half an hour.
