The Gatehouse Cottage
The Gatehouse Cottage is in Wells, just off the Stoberry Park Estate. It's a detached cottage, all on the ground floor. You get your own private garden and two parking spaces.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom with a big slipper bath and a separate walk-in shower. It has a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable. It's also wheelchair accessible at the entrance.
The kitchen has the usual things, plus a dishwasher and a Nespresso machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. You can bring one dog.
The cottage is about a ten minute walk into the centre of Wells. You can get to the cathedral, shops, and places to eat without using the car. There's a local pub nearby too.
From here, Glastonbury is about a 15 minute drive. You can walk up the Tor or look around the town. Wookey Hole Caves are very close, maybe five minutes by car. Cheddar Gorge is about 20 minutes away.
For a bigger day out, Bath is around 45 minutes' drive. The coast at Weston-super-Mare is about 17 miles.
