The Chaff House is in Burcott, just outside Wells. It's a first-floor studio apartment on a working farm. You get views from the balcony across the fields.
It sleeps two. One big open room with a king-size bed, a kitchen area with a breakfast bar, and a living space. There's a wood burner. The shower room is separate. The balcony has a couple of chairs, it's a nice spot.
It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well put together. You're on a farm, so you'll hear farm noises and see tractors. That's just how it is.
Wells is about a mile away. You can walk it in twenty minutes if you don't mind a country lane. The cathedral is there, and the town has shops and places to eat.
For days out, Cheddar Gorge is about fifteen minutes by car. Glastonbury Tor is maybe twenty minutes. Street, for Clarks Village shopping, is ten minutes. Bath is further, about forty-five minutes to an hour depending on traffic.
Facilities: it's all there. WiFi, TV, wood for the burner, parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog. There's horse riding nearby if you want to book that.
