Wookey Hole - The Stables is where we live, or rather it's in our garden. It's a stone building that used to be the stables. We're on the village edge.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. We've made it wheelchair accessible, so there are no steps at the entrance and there's a walk-in shower with grab rails.
You can bring one dog. There's a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included.
You're about a three minute walk from the village pub. It serves food.
The Wookey Hole Caves are right here. They're famous. You can walk down to them. For walking, the Mendip Way and the Monarch's Way paths are on the doorstep.
Wells is a couple of miles away. It's got a cathedral and a market on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Glastonbury and the Tor are about four miles.
If you want to plan trips, good places to start are the National Trust for Somerset and the Mendip Hills National Landscape site.
