Ramscliff Cottage is a bungalow up in the Mendip Hills, near Bradley Cross. It's high up, so the views are good, and it's quiet. It's part of a little group of converted farm buildings.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well looked after. The floors are a bit uneven in places, which is normal for an old place like this.
There are fields and walking trails right from the door. The farm has some alpacas and goats you can see. You'll often see deer or badgers around at dusk if you're quiet.
Cheddar is about three miles down the hill. That's where the gorge and caves are. The shop and the nearest pub are about that distance too, so you'll want a car.
For a day out, Wells with its cathedral is about twenty minutes' drive. Glastonbury Tor is a similar distance. The coast at Weston-super-Mare is about forty minutes if you fancy the seaside. Bath is just under an hour, for the Roman Baths and the city. Exmoor is about forty minutes north.
Things here: there's a washing machine, TV, parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them. You can bring up to two dogs. There's a shared play area for children on the farm.
