Cow Cottage
Cow Cottage is on the edge of Churchill in Somerset. It's a small, single-storey barn conversion. It's quiet and looks out over the fields.
The cottage sleeps four. It's one bedroom with a king-size bed and a double sofa bed in the living area. There's one bathroom with a shower. It's a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean. It's all on one level, but there is one step between the kitchen and the living area.
There's a patio garden with furniture. It gets the sun in the afternoon. Inside, there's a woodburning stove. You get a starter pack of logs. The TV has Freeview and there's WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, a cot and a highchair if you need them. Parking is right outside.
The local pub, the Crown Inn, is about a ten minute walk. They do food. The village shop in Churchill is good for basics.
Cheddar Gorge is about a 20 minute drive. Wookey Hole Caves are a similar distance. Wells, with its cathedral and market, is about 15 minutes away. For a longer trip, Bristol and the coast at Weston-super-Mare are just under an hour.
