Blackberry Lodge is a one-bedroom cottage for two people. It's a single-storey building, so there are no stairs. You get it to yourself, it's detached.
It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's well-equipped and comfortable. It's clean and modern inside. There's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings, and your own patio area with a garden view.
The property is on the same grounds as two other cottages, Barrowswood and Strawberry Lodge. They're separate, but you might see other people around. You can book them all together if you have a bigger group.
The location is about a mile outside Cheddar village. There's a shop and a pub about a mile away. The local roads are country lanes, so they're narrow in places.
Cheddar Gorge is the main thing here. You can see it from the grounds. It's good for walks and climbing. The caves at Cheddar are worth a visit if you've never been. The reservoir is nearby for a stroll or a picnic.
Within half an hour you can get to Wells. It's a small city with the cathedral. Glastonbury Tor is about twenty minutes away. The coast at Weston-super-Mare is also within that drive. If you want to go further, Bath and Bristol are both less than an hour.
Facilities: it has a shower, a washing machine, parking right outside, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
