Orchard View
Orchard View is one of four studio apartments. The main house is old, from 1708, but the studios are new builds. They're in Cheddar, on the edge of town. You can walk to the Gorge in about fifteen minutes.
It sleeps two. One bedroom area, one shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well-equipped and modern. It's on the ground floor. There's a door straight out to the walled garden.
You can bring one dog. We've got a dog ourselves. The main garden is shared with us and other guests, so it's not ideal for dogs that bark a lot or don't like seeing people or other dogs.
It has a kitchenette with a proper oven and hob. There's a smart TV. The view from the window looks out over the orchard towards Cheddar Reservoir and Glastonbury Tor.
You're really close to the Mendip Hills for walking. The Strawberry Line cycle path is a couple of minutes away. You can cycle to The Railway Inn, which is near the Thatchers cider farm. Cheddar town centre, with its shops and pubs, is walkable.
If you drive, Glastonbury is about twenty minutes. Weston-super-Mare and Burnham-on-Sea are on the coast, maybe half an hour. There's a golf course at Burnham if that's your thing.
Facilities: there's parking on a gated driveway, a bike store, and an electric vehicle charger. Bedding and towels are included. WiFi. There's a patio garden with seating and a BBQ.
