Meadow View
Meadow View is a studio apartment. It's part of a converted barn on the edge of Cheddar. We live next door. The barn is old, from 1708.
It's for two people. One open-plan room with a double bed, kitchen area and shower room. There's a smart TV. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean. The finish is nice.
You get views out over the garden to the reservoir and towards Glastonbury Tor. This one is on the ground floor. Your door opens straight into a walled garden with seating. Beyond that is our orchard.
You can bring one dog. We have a dog ourselves. The lower garden is shared with us and other guests. It's not suitable for dogs that are nervous or bark a lot.
The location is good. You can walk into Cheddar town in 15 minutes. The Gorge is about the same. There are pubs and shops there.
The Mendip Hills start a couple of minutes walk from here. Good for walking. The Strawberry Line cycle path is also just up the road. You can cycle to The Railway Inn by Thatchers Cider.
There's a gated driveway for parking. Also an electric vehicle charger and bicycle storage.
Facilities: There's a BBQ in the garden. WiFi, bedding and towels are included. All utilities are covered.
