Pennyard House is in Banwell. It's a house. You've got your own driveway and parking at the front.
It sleeps six, with four bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's a 5 Star place, which just means it's been done up to a good standard. Everything's pretty new since the renovation in 2022.
The kitchen is open plan with a dining table for six. It's well-equipped. There's a utility room with a downstairs toilet off it.
The main living room is separate. There's also a garden room with rattan sofas and French doors that lead out to a courtyard. The courtyard is enclosed and has a lot of plants. The hot tub is out there, it fits six. The garden is nicely lit in the evenings.
Upstairs, the main bedroom has a kingsize bed and an en-suite shower. The second bedroom has a super kingsize bed that can be split into two singles if you need it. The other two rooms are singles. There's a family bathroom with a bath and a shower over it. The owner provides bath robes.
Banwell village is a five-minute walk. There are a couple of pubs, a shop, an Indian takeaway, and a fish and chip shop.
For days out, Weston-super-Mare beach is about 15 minutes away by car. You've got Cheddar Gorge nearby too. For walking, the National Trust Cheddar Gorge site is useful. The cities of Bath and Wells are both within an hour's drive through the Mendips.
Thatchers Cider farm is just down the road if you fancy a tour. Puxton Park, which has animals and a soft play, is about ten minutes away.
In terms of what's here, it has the basics: WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher, cot, highchair, stairgate. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry. It's set up for families.
