Pennyard House

Pennyard House is in Banwell. It's a detached house, not a cottage. There's a decent sized driveway so parking isn't an issue.

It sleeps six in four bedrooms. Two bathrooms, one is an ensuite. Two of the bedrooms are singles, so it's good for families. We had it fully renovated a couple of years ago, so everything's clean and works properly. It's got a 5 Star rating.

Downstairs, the kitchen is big and open plan, with a table for six. The sitting room is separate. Off the kitchen there's a garden room with doors out to the back courtyard. That's where the hot tub is. The garden is enclosed, which is handy if you've got kids or a dog.

Upstairs, the main bedroom has a king size bed and its own shower room. The second bedroom has a super king bed that can be split into two singles if you need it. The other two are single rooms.

In the village, you've got a couple of pubs, a shop, a chip shop and an Indian restaurant, all about five minutes walk away.

You can get to Weston-super-Mare in about fifteen minutes by car. It's a typical seaside town with a pier and things for kids to do.

Cheddar Gorge is about a twenty minute drive. It's good for a walk and you can buy cheese there. The National Trust runs some of it if you want to look at the caves.

Wells is maybe half an hour away. The cathedral is worth seeing. Bath is further, about an hour's drive, but it's a straightforward trip if you fancy a day out there.

If you like cider, Thatchers is just down the road. You can do tours. Puxton Park is nearby if you've got young children who like farm animals and soft play.

For facilities, it's got the normal things: washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair. Sorry, no pets.
