Cider Barn
Cider Barn is in Hutton, Somerset. It's a converted barn, part of the old Hutton Court estate. Sleeps three, two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well looked after.
It's on the edge of the village, so you get views over the fields. The garden's enclosed, which is good if you're bringing dogs. Speaking of which, we take up to two pets. There's parking and an electric vehicle charger.
The stairs inside are normal, not steep. There's a wood burner for cooler nights. Quite a practical thing: we clean the place using environmentally friendly products. There's also a built-in wine chiller, which is a bit of a luxury.
You can walk to the local pub and a Chinese takeaway in about three minutes. For a beach, Weston-super-Mare is three miles away. It's the nearest one, good for a walk or if you've got kids who just want to run about on the sand.
Lots to do within half an hour. Cheddar Gorge and its caves are close. Wells is a lovely small city with its cathedral. Glastonbury Tor is there if you fancy the climb and the view. Further afield, Bath is about 45 minutes if you hit the traffic right.
Facilities: Washing machine, TV, wifi, bedding and towels included. We've got a highchair and a cot if you need them.
