Horseshoe Cottage is in Lympsham. It's a bungalow, all on the ground floor, but there are two small steps inside along the corridor. Just so you know.
It's for two people. One bedroom. You can have it as a huge double bed or two singles. There's one bathroom. They found an old bread oven in the wall when they did it up, so that's in there. It's just a feature, doesn't do anything.
You get two gardens. One at the front which is big, and a smaller enclosed one at the back with a table and chairs. It's quiet.
The place has a 4 Star rating. That means it's well-equipped and comfortable. There's Wi-Fi, a TV, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
There's parking right outside the cottage.
The village is about a ten minute walk away. There's a shop for basics and a pavilion with a café for breakfast and lunch. The pavilion has a bar that's open in the evenings. There's a cricket green and you can book a tennis court at the sports club.
For the coast, you're about fifteen minutes by car from Burnham-on-Sea or Brean Sands. Weston-super-Mare is the same.
If you want a day out, Cheddar Gorge and Wookey Hole are maybe half an hour away. Exmoor National Park is a bit further, maybe forty minutes depending on where you go. Longleat is about an hour.
