Horseshoe Cottage
Horseshoe Cottage is a bungalow in Lympsham. It's all on the ground floor, which is handy. There's a couple of small steps inside in the corridor, that's all.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. The bedroom can be a super kingsize bed or two singles, you just need to let me know before you arrive. The bathroom's a decent size and has the original bread oven in the wall from when the place was renovated. It's just there, doesn't do anything, but it's a nice feature.
The living room is big and comfortable. I leave some leaflets about the area in there. You get two private gardens. One at the front, which is large, and a smaller enclosed one round the back with a patio table and chairs if you want to sit out.
The village is about half a mile down the lane. There's a shop for basics and a Pavilion with a cafe that does good breakfasts and lunches. They have a bar open in the evenings too. You can sit outside and watch the cricket in the summer. The sports club has tennis courts you can book.
You're about 15 minutes by car from the coast at Weston-super-Mare or Burnham-on-Sea. Cheddar Gorge and Wookey Hole are maybe half an hour's drive. Exmoor is a bit further, but you can get to the edges of it within 30 minutes.
For facilities, it's got a washing machine, TV, WiFi, and parking right outside. The bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
