Apple Cottage
Apple Cottage is in Lympsham, Somerset. It’s one of a row of four stone cottages.
The layout is upside-down. You live upstairs to get the view. The living room is on the first floor and looks out over fields towards the village. Downstairs are the two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a separate toilet. There’s a double room and a bunk room. It sleeps four.
It’s got a 4 Star rating. It’s comfortable, not huge. The stairs are a typical cottage staircase.
There’s a small, enclosed garden out the back. Parking is right outside.
The village shop and the Lympsham Pavilion are about half a mile away. You can walk there. The Pavilion does breakfast and lunch and has a bar in the evenings. There’s a cricket green and tennis courts you can book at the sports club.
For the coast, Weston-super-Mare and Burnham-on-Sea are about 15 minutes by car. The National Trust has several properties nearby, like Dunster Castle. Exmoor National Park is about 45 minutes away if you want proper walking.
Cheddar Gorge is a 25 minute drive. Wookey Hole is similar. Glastonbury Tor is about half an hour.
Facilities are all there: WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
