Poppy Cottage
Poppy Cottage is on Manor Farm in Banwell. It's a barn conversion, one of several on the farm. The place sleeps four.
You've got two bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is handy. One bedroom is downstairs with a super king bed, and the other is upstairs with an en-suite. Both beds can be made up as singles if you ask beforehand. There's a walk-in shower on the ground floor too.
The main living area is open plan, with a wood burner. There's a TV, WiFi, a dishwasher and a washing machine. The garden is enclosed and there's parking right outside. It's all step-free on the ground floor.
You're on the edge of the Mendip Hills here. It's quiet, up a farm track. The nearest pub is about a mile and a half away, and there's a shop about three miles. Weston-super-Mare is five miles east for the beach.
If you're driving, there's plenty nearby. Cheddar Gorge and Wookey Hole are within thirty minutes. Wells and its cathedral are about twenty minutes south. You're not far from Bristol and Bath if you want a city day.
For walks, the Chew Valley lakes are close by. The National Trust has a few properties like Tyntesfield not too far away. Exmoor National Park is just over an hour's drive.
You can bring one dog. All bedding and towels are included. We can provide a travel cot and highchair if you need them.
