The Gite At Wildflowers
The Gite at Wildflowers is in Shipham, up on the Mendip Hills. It's a detached building in the garden of our house. You get your own bit outside with a patio and a small lawn. The view from the patio looks out over the fields towards the Bristol Channel.
It sleeps three. One bedroom with a super king bed that can be made into two singles if you ask beforehand. There's also a pull-out single bed in the lounge area. One shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating. Everything is on one level, which is handy. The underfloor heating works well.
The main room has big windows all along one side. It makes it very light. The kitchen has what you need, including a dishwasher. There's a TV with internet apps.
You can walk straight out onto the Mendip Hills from here. There are a lot of footpaths. There are nine pubs within walking distance. The nearest one is about half a mile.
By car, Cheddar Gorge is about ten minutes away. It's good for a walk. National Trust Cheddar Gorge has the information. Weston-super-Mare beach is about half an hour's drive. Glastonbury Tor is also around thirty minutes. For shopping, Clarks Village in Street is about twenty-five minutes.
Included: all bedding and towels, WiFi, parking right outside. No pets, sorry.
