The Sett
This is The Sett. It's a detached lodge down at the bottom of our field. Detached means you won't have neighbours on the other side of a wall. The views are all around, over the fields towards the Mendips and the Quantock Hills. It's in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, so it's quiet and good for walks.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and has everything you'd need. The layout is open plan. There's a patio with an enclosed garden, so it's secure if you're bringing dogs. We take up to two pets.
You've got a dishwasher and a washing machine. There's a TV and Wi-Fi. Bedding and towels are included, and the electricity is covered in the price. There's parking right there. If you have an electric car, you can plug it into a standard outdoor socket for a slow charge.
The local pub is about a mile away, and there's a shop there too. Axbridge is two miles, and Wedmore village is four. It's a decent base for getting out. Cheddar Gorge and the caves are close by. Wells Cathedral and Glastonbury Tor are within half an hour. The coast, like Weston-super-Mare, is about a 40 minute drive.
