This is Tor View. It's one of the studios in the old barn here. Sleeps two in a double bed. It's on the first floor.
The space is open plan, so the bed, sitting area and kitchenette are all in one room. There's a proper two-ring hob and a small oven in the kitchen bit, and a fridge. The shower room is separate.
The view is the main thing. You look out towards the reservoir and across to Glastonbury Tor. You get to it by a shared walkway outside. There's a seat out the front under a cherry tree.
It's a four star place, so it's been done up nicely.
Location is easy. You're on the edge of Cheddar. It's about a ten minute walk down into the town centre or up to the top of the Gorge. The Cheddar Gorge cliffs and caves are the big draw. There are pubs and shops in the village.
If you want to walk or cycle straight from the door, you can. The Mendip Hills are literally two minutes up the lane. The Strawberry Line cycle path is just as close. You can follow that to the Railway Inn, which is a decent pub.
For a different walk, Cheddar Reservoir is five minutes away by car. It's a flat two-mile loop around the water.
Within half an hour you can drive to the coast at Weston-super-Mare or Burnham-on-Sea. Glastonbury and the Tor are about twenty minutes. The Glastonbury Tor is worth the climb if you've never done it.
You have parking on the gated driveway. There's space to store bikes. Bedding and towels are included. Wi-Fi is here. Sorry, no pets in this one.
