Christmas Cottage
This is Christmas Cottage in Cheddar. It's built right into the side of the gorge, which is unusual. It's a house split over four floors, so you need to be okay with stairs.
It sleeps five. There are three bedrooms upstairs. One has a king-sized bed, one has a small double, and one is a small single. There's one bathroom with a shower and a bath.
The main thing about it is the Christmas theme. It's decorated for Christmas all year round, with lights and decorations. That's just how it is.
The kitchen and living room are on the first floor you enter. The living room has a wood burner and views over the river. There are two outside spaces. One is a small lower deck off the kitchen. The main garden is right at the top, four floors up. You get a good view over the river and the gorge from there.
You can walk into the village centre from the door. There are pubs, tea rooms, and the cheese shops. The foot of the Cheddar Gorge walks and the caves are a short walk away too. For a day out, Glastonbury Tor is about 20 minutes by car, and Wells with its cathedral is about 15.
It's a 4 Star place. That means it's well-equipped and comfortable. All bedding and towels are included. WiFi is there. You can bring up to two dogs.
