Holly's Barn
Holly's Barn is in East Brent, out in the Somerset countryside. It's a converted cow barn, detached from our house but right next to it. So it's private but you might see us coming and going.
It sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom. Everything's on the ground floor. It has a 4 Star rating. It's been done up well, it's clean and comfortable. The doorways are wide and there's no step into the shower, so it's suitable if you have mobility issues.
You've got your own patio area with a table and chairs. It catches the sun in the afternoon. There's parking right outside.
There's a public footpath right next to the property. It leads up to Brent Knoll, which is a National Trust site. The walk up the hill is steep but the views from the top are worth it. You can see for miles.
The coast at Burnham-on-Sea is about three miles away. It's a long sandy beach. For a pint and a meal, the local pub is half a mile down the road. The shop is a mile away.
You're well placed for getting out. Glastonbury Tor is about twenty minutes by car. Wells and its cathedral are maybe half an hour. The Cheddar Gorge and caves are a similar drive. Clark's Village outlet shopping is near Street, not far from Glastonbury.
Facilities: WiFi, TV, washing machine, bike storage. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
