Birch Cottage East Huntspill

Birch Cottage is one of five cottages on Withy Grove Farm, near East Huntspill. It's a working dairy farm, so you'll hear and see the cows. The cottages are single-storey, built around a courtyard.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. The rating is 3 Star, so it's comfortable and clean. You can bring one dog.

The farm has animals. Chickens, sheep, horses, a Shetland pony called Alf, and two small goats. Kids usually like it. There's a shared heated outdoor pool open in summer, a games room with a pool table, and a skittle alley. The owners run a small bar some evenings with quizzes.

You've got your own patio area. Bedding is included. There's a washing machine, WiFi, and parking right outside.

The shop and nearest pub are about a mile and a half away in the village. The coast at Burnham-on-Sea is about four miles. It's a long sandy beach.

For days out, Wells and its cathedral are about 40 minutes' drive. Glastonbury Tor is maybe half an hour. Cheddar Gorge and the caves are also within half an hour. If you want to go further, the city of Bath or Exmoor are roughly an hour's drive.
