Pine Cottage
Pine Cottage is on Withy Grove Farm in East Huntspill. It's a working farm, so you'll see animals about. There are chickens, cows, sheep, and a couple of pygmy goats. The cottage is one of five around a courtyard.
It's a single-storey place, so no stairs. It sleeps four in two bedrooms and has one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean and functional.
The cottage has its own patio. You share use of the outdoor heated swimming pool, a games room with a pool table and things, and a skittle alley. There's a bar on site that runs a quiz or bingo some evenings. Once a week they do a Somerset evening with local cider and cheese.
You can bring one dog. There's a washing machine, WiFi, and parking right outside. Bedding and a cot are included if you need it.
The shop and the nearest pub are about a mile and a half away. The coast at Burnham-on-Sea is a 15 minute drive.
For days out, Glastonbury Tor is about 25 minutes by car. Wells and its cathedral is roughly half an hour. The Cheddar Gorge caves are a similar drive. Clarks Village outlet shops in Street are about 20 minutes away. Bath and Exmoor are both within an hour's drive.
If you're into fishing, you can get a licence locally for the rivers around here.
