Pine Cottage is at Withy Grove Farm in East Huntspill. It's on a working farm, so you'll see and hear farm animals around. It's quiet.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms and has one bathroom. The layout is all on the ground floor. It's got a 3 Star rating. That means it's clean and comfortable, not luxurious. Everything works.
You're sharing the site with the other holiday cottages. There's a heated outdoor pool you can use in the summer months. There's a games room with table tennis and pool, and a skittle alley. The owners run a bar some evenings with things like quizzes. Sometimes they do a Somerset evening with cider.
The farm has animals. There's a Shetland pony called Alf, some pygmy goats, chickens, sheep, and cows. If you've got kids with you, they usually like that.
You can bring one well-behaved dog. There's a patio area and you can use the farm gardens. Parking is right there.
The coast at Burnham-on-Sea is about four miles away. It's a long sandy beach. For a shop or a pub, you need to drive about a mile and a half.
You're in a good spot for seeing things. Glastonbury Tor is about 20 minutes away. Wells and its cathedral is about half an hour. Cheddar Gorge is maybe 25 minutes. For a day out, Bath is just under an hour's drive. Exmoor National Park is about 45 minutes.
The rivers around here are known for coarse fishing. You'd need to get a licence locally.
