Beech Cottage is on Withy Grove Farm, near East Huntspill. It's a single-storey cottage, part of a little group around a courtyard. I live on site with my family.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's clean and comfortable. Everything is on the ground floor, no stairs to worry about.
The cottage is on a working farm. We've got sheep, cows, horses, chickens, and a couple of pygmy goats. Children seem to like it. You're welcome to walk around and see the animals, but you need to be sensible and ask me first.
For when you're not out, there's a heated outdoor swimming pool you can use. There's also a games room with a pool table and table tennis, and a skittle alley. Once a week we do a Somerset evening in the bar with local cider and cheese.
You get the basics: a washing machine, TV, WiFi, and parking right outside. Bedding is included. We can provide a cot and highchair. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
The local shop and pub are about a mile and a half away. The coast at Burnham-on-Sea is about four miles for a beach walk.
For days out, you're quite central. Glastonbury and its Tor are about 25 minutes' drive. Wells and the cathedral are about half an hour. Cheddar Gorge is about the same. If you want to go further, Exmoor or the city of Bath are both reachable in under an hour.
