Beech Cottage East Huntspill

It’s Beech Cottage, on Withy Grove Farm in East Huntspill. The farm’s right by the River Huntspill. It’s a working farm, so there are animals about.

The cottage sleeps four. Two bedrooms and a bathroom. It’s all on one floor. It’s got a 3 Star rating, so it’s comfortable and clean.

The other cottages are around a courtyard. We live on site. There’s a shared heated outdoor pool you can use, and a games room with table tennis and pool. There’s also a skittle alley and a bar lounge. We sometimes do a quiz or a Somerset evening with cider.

Kids usually like the animals. There are chickens, sheep, horses, and some pygmy goats. You can see the day-to-day farm work.

The local shop and a pub are about a mile and a half away. The coast at Burnham-on-Sea is about four miles for the beach.

You’re well placed for driving to things. Glastonbury Tor is about half an hour. Wells and its cathedral are too. Cheddar Gorge is about 25 minutes. Clarks Village outlet shops in Street are about 20 minutes away. Bath and Exmoor are both within an hour’s drive.

The farm’s known for fishing if that’s your thing. You can get licences locally for the rivers around here.

For facilities, you’ve got a washing machine, TV, wifi, and parking. Bedding is included. We can provide a cot and highchair. You can bring one well-behaved dog. There’s a BBQ.
