Daisy Cottage is a one bedroom place. It's a former farm building on the outskirts of Banwell. Sleeps two, no children. It's got a 5 Star rating, which really just means it's well done up and everything works.
It's comfortable. A good kitchen, a wood burner, and a big bed that splits into singles if you need it. There's a walk-in shower on the ground floor, and the front door is wide enough for a wheelchair. The garden's enclosed, which is handy even if it's small.
You're on the edge of the Mendips. Good walking from the door. The sea at Weston-super-Mare is about five miles. It's a typical seaside town with a pier and a sandy beach. Useful for a change of scene.
Lots to see if you drive. Cheddar Gorge is about fifteen minutes. Wells Cathedral is worth the trip. There are a few National Trust places like Tyntesfield within half an hour. The Mendip Hills and Exmoor are close by for longer walks.
There's a local pub a mile and a half away. The nearest shop is three miles. You'd want a car.
Facilities: regular things like a washing machine, dishwasher, Wi-Fi. Bedding and towels are included. One well behaved dog is allowed. Parking is right outside.
Useful for planning: National Trust Somerset and Visit Weston-super-Mare.
