Daisy Cottage
Daisy Cottage is on a working farm on the edge of Banwell. It's a barn conversion we did a few years back. The cottage is for two people only. No children, but we can put a travel cot in for a baby.
It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well finished and has everything you'd need. There's a super king size bed, or we can split it into two singles if you ask beforehand. The shower room is all on the ground floor and is a proper wet room, so it's step-free. There's a wood burner in the main room. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine.
You've got your own enclosed patio area out the back. It's quiet, just farm buildings and fields. The farm track is right there if you want to start a walk from the door.
The nearest pub is about a mile and a half up the road in the village. The shop is in Winscombe, about three miles. Weston-super-Mare is five miles away for the beach and that sort of thing.
You're well placed for getting out. Cheddar Gorge is about twenty minutes' drive. Wells and its cathedral is maybe half an hour. For a longer day out, Bath and Bristol are both within an hour. The National Trust has a few big houses nearby, like Tyntesfield.
One dog is welcome. The whole place is on one level, so there are no stairs. There's parking right outside the cottage.
