Little Burcott Loft is a bungalow, detached. It's a loft conversion, so it's all on one level once you're up there. It sleeps two, one bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well presented.
The main thing is the location. It's in Burcott, which is quiet and rural. You look out over fields. Wells is about a mile away - it's a small city, but it's got a good cathedral and the usual shops. The closest pub that does food is three quarters of a mile down the road.
The stairs to get up to the loft are a feature. They're spiral and quite steep. Just so you know.
Inside, it's open plan. There's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings, which is nice. It's got the things you'd expect: WiFi, a TV, a dishwasher, a washing machine. Bedding is included. You can park on site.
You can bring two dogs. The garden isn't fully enclosed, so you'd need to keep an eye on them if they wander.
For things to do, Wells is your nearest. For a bigger day out, Cheddar Gorge and Wookey Hole are about twenty minutes by car. Glastonbury Tor is a similar distance. If you want to go further, Bath is under an hour's drive. Stourhead gardens are about forty minutes away.
