The Farmhouse is on East Street in Somerset. It's part of an old farmyard that's been converted into four places to stay. Ours is the one that sleeps eight.
There are four bedrooms and four bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and well looked after.
The main thing downstairs is the kitchen and living space. It's open plan, so you're all together. There's a wood burner. There's also a separate games room with a pool table.
Outside, you have your own garden area with a patio. There's a hot tub that's just for you. The garden is walled, but it's not completely private from the other cottages because of how they're arranged around the yard. The hot tub might not be at full temperature on your first night because it gets cleaned between guests.
You can all use the tennis court on the farm. It's shared with the other cottages.
It's a working farm, so you'll see animals around. The village is small. The nearest pub is about half a mile away. The shop is a bit further, about two and a half miles.
You're about three and a half miles from Glastonbury. You can see the Tor from some of the other cottages on site. Wells and its cathedral are close, maybe a fifteen minute drive. Wookey Hole is there too if you've got kids. Bath is further, about forty minutes in the car.
For walking, you're surrounded by footpaths and the Mendip Hills. The coast is a good half hour or more away.
Facilities: all the bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, and wifi. Parking is right there. You can bring one dog.
