This is the Garden Flat. It's a converted barn attached to our place, which is an old farmhouse. It's small, but it's cosy. There are beams in the ceiling.
It's for two people. The bed is in the main living space, there isn't a separate bedroom. There's one bathroom with a shower. It has a 3 Star rating, so it's clean and comfortable but not luxury.
You'd have your own front door and a little patio area outside. The garden is shared, but it's peaceful and you wouldn't be overlooked. You can see Glastonbury Tor from here.
The flat is on a quiet lane right on the edge of Pilton village. The local pub is about half a mile away, it's a proper village pub. For a supermarket, you'd drive to Shepton Mallet, which is about five minutes.
You're sort of in between things here. Glastonbury is about five minutes by car. Wells is about fifteen minutes, the cathedral and the Bishop's Palace are worth seeing. Cheddar Gorge is maybe twenty-five minutes away.
You can get to Bath or Bristol in under an hour if you want a city day. The coast at Burnham-on-Sea or Weston-super-Mare is about forty-five minutes. For a longer day out, you could drive down to the Dorset coast or to places like Longleat.
What's here: there's WiFi, a TV, a shower. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. The electricity is all included in the price.
