The Dairy
The Dairy is on a farm in West Pennard, Somerset. It’s part of a group of four converted farm buildings. Each place has its own garden area and a private hot tub.
It's a two bedroom place, sleeps five. There are two bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's cosy. There's a wood burner between the kitchen and the lounge, so it heats both rooms.
The garden is walled. You should know the gardens are next to each other, so they're not totally private. You get a hot tub to yourselves. It's cleaned between guests, so it might not be up to full heat on your first night. That's just how it works.
There's a shared tennis court on the farm you can use. Inside, there's a games room with a console. The place has WiFi, parking, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We allow one well-behaved dog.
The local pub is about half a mile away. The nearest shop is two and a half miles, so you'll probably want to drive for a big shop.
Glastonbury Tor is right there, you can see it from the farm. The town is about three and a half miles away. Wells Cathedral and Wookey Hole are about a 20 minute drive. Bath is further, maybe 45 minutes to an hour depending on traffic.
It’s a working farm, so there are animals and tractors about sometimes. It's quiet, but not silent. Good if you like walking straight out into the countryside.
