Mulberry Cottage
Mulberry Cottage is a stone cottage on the farm where we live, in North Wootton. It's an 85 acre working farm, so you'll see sheep and hear tractors. The cottage sits on its own, with its own enclosed garden. You get some good sunsets from out there.
It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. Three of the beds are king size, one is a twin. The kitchen has what you need. There's a washing machine.
The stairs are typical for these old cottages, so they're a bit steep. We've got a stairgate and a cot if you need them.
There’s a small indoor games area in an outbuilding with a few board games and a PlayStation 3. The garden has a patio with furniture and a barbecue.
The village pub is about a ten minute walk. It does food. The nearest proper shop is about three miles away in Wells.
Wells is about a 15 minute drive. You've got the Cathedral there, which is worth seeing. Wookey Hole and Cheddar Gorge are maybe 20 to 30 minutes away. Glastonbury Tor is about half an hour. For a day trip, Bath and Bristol are around an hour, same for the coast at Weston-super-Mare.
We're close to the Bath and West Showground if you're here for an event.
No pets, sorry. The rating is 4 Star. Bedding and towels are included.
