Wellesley House is on the Wellesley Park estate in Dulcote. It's a modern, four-bedroom house that sleeps eight.
It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's high spec. Everything is new and works as it should. There are four bathrooms, one for each bedroom, which is handy with a group. The stairs are open-tread with glass panels, so keep that in mind if you have very small children.
The main living area is open plan downstairs. There's a big kitchen with a range cooker and a coffee machine. The dining table is large. The seating area has a TV and an electric fireplace. The WiFi is very fast, over 800mb.
Outside, there's a private, enclosed garden with a lawn and some seating.
The main thing here is the access to the estate's leisure complex. You book private slots for it. It has an indoor heated pool, a sauna, a steam room, a gym, and an outdoor tennis court. It's all included.
Location wise, you're just a couple of miles from Wells. It's a small city with a cathedral, shops, and places to eat. You can walk there in about 40 minutes or drive in five. The Mendip Hills are right there for walking. Glastonbury and its Tor are about a 15-minute drive.
Bath and Bristol are both within an hour's drive if you want a day out in a bigger city. There are lots of National Trust properties around too.
Facilities cover what you'd expect: all bedding and towels, a washing machine, dishwasher, and parking on site. No pets.
