Wellesley House is in Dulcote, just outside Wells. It's a modern house on a private estate called Wellesley Park. You drive in through a secure gate to get to it.
It sleeps eight people. Four bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, which is handy. One is a super king, two are kings, and one is a twin. The rating is 5 Star, which is accurate. It's a high-spec place, very clean and well looked after.
The main living area is open plan. Kitchen, dining table, sofas. It's a good space for a group. The wifi is very fast, which people seem to like. Outside is a private, enclosed garden with a lawn and some seating.
Being on the estate, you get access to their leisure complex. There's an indoor heated swimming pool, a gym, a sauna and steam room, and a tennis court. You have to book slots for the pool and gym, but it's all included. It's right there, which is the main draw for a lot of people.
Wells is about two miles away. It's a five minute drive, or a forty minute walk if you fancy it. It's a small city but it's got everything you need: a cathedral, shops, pubs, restaurants. The Mendip Hills are right on the doorstep for walking.
Glastonbury is about six miles. You can see the Tor from a distance. Bath and Bristol are both under an hour's drive if you want a bigger day out. There are a lot of National Trust places around here too.
Facilities: it's got all the usual things - washing machine, dishwasher, towels and bedding included. Plenty of parking right outside. No pets allowed.
