Crickledown is in High Ham. It's a detached house, big enough for fourteen people. Six bedrooms, three bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well equipped.
The place is set up for groups. There are two living rooms, so kids can be in one and adults in the other. The main kitchen has an Aga. There's a separate utility room with a washing machine and a big freezer. Downstairs, there's a bedroom with its own lounge and shower room. It's accessible, which is good if anyone has mobility issues.
All the rooms at the back look out over fields towards Glastonbury Tor. You can see it from the main bathroom, which has a bath and a walk-in shower.
The garden is large. Part of it is an orchard. There's a patio with seating and a barbecue, and a lawn for games. There's a hot tub. It faces the house and the fields.
High Ham is a village near Langport. There's a pub within a mile's walk. Glastonbury is about fifteen minutes by car. The Tor is the obvious thing to see, but the town itself is interesting. Taunton and Yeovil are also within half an hour.
For local walks, you're on the edge of the Somerset Levels. There are several National Trust properties nearby, like Barrington Court and Montacute House. The West Somerset Steam Railway runs from Bishops Lydeard to Minehead, which is a good trip if you like that sort of thing.
Practical things: Bedding and towels are included. Parking is on site. There's an electric vehicle charger. Pets are allowed, up to two. Highchairs and stairgates are provided.
