Dronefield Lodge is near Pitney, Somerset. It's a big, detached house we built ourselves. The driveway is private, so you're not overlooked.
It sleeps eleven people. Five bedrooms, three bathrooms. Three of the bedrooms are on the ground floor, including one with a king-size bed and its own shower room. Upstairs there are two more bedrooms, one with four single beds. The ceiling upstairs is a bit low in places, so taller people need to mind their heads.
It's got a 5 Star rating. Everything is new. The kitchen is open plan and has all the appliances, including two ovens and a dishwasher. There's underfloor heating. Every bedroom has a Smart TV. We've put fly screens on all the windows and doors.
The garden is large and enclosed. There's a covered terrace outside with a table, a pizza oven, a barbecue, and some games. The terrace has lights for the evening.
You can bring up to two dogs. The area is rural, so there are walks straight from the door. For a longer stroll, Langport and the River Parrett are close by.
Somerton is the nearest proper town, about ten minutes away for shops and pubs. Glastonbury is roughly twenty minutes drive if you want to see the Tor or the Abbey. Street, with the Clarks Village outlet shops, is about twenty-five minutes. The coast at Burnham-on-Sea or the Quantock Hills are within half an hour.
Things you might want to know: all bedding and towels are included. There's a cot, a highchair, and a stairgate available. Parking is on the driveway.
