Orchard Cottage
Orchard Cottage is in Thorney, which is a small village in Somerset near the Dorset border. It's a small cottage for two. You get the garden to yourself. It's enclosed, so it's fine for dogs.
Inside it's all one room, really. Living area, kitchen, and the bedroom space are all together. There's a separate bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well kept. Because it's open plan, it's better suited for a couple or one person. There isn't a separate door on the bedroom.
It's a quiet spot. The cottage looks out over the garden and fields. Thorney itself is just a few houses. For a pint or supplies, you'd go to Chard, which is about ten minutes by car.
From here you can get to a lot of places. The Jurassic Coast is about half an hour's drive. Lyme Regis and Charmouth are good for that. If you want somewhere bigger, Taunton or Yeovil are within reach. For walking, the Blackdown Hills are right there, and you're not far from the Somerset Levels either.
Facilities wise: there's parking, a dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them. It says Christmas themed, which means we put up a tree and some decorations if you're booking over the holiday. Up to two dogs are welcome. There's local fishing available, but you'd need your own license and gear.
