Long Barn
Long Barn is in Thorney, which is about eight miles outside of Glastonbury. It's a converted barn, single storey. So everything's on the ground floor.
It sleeps four, but it's one bedroom and one bathroom. The bedroom has a double bed, and then there's a sofa bed in the living space for the other two people. That's fine for friends or kids, but maybe a bit cosy for two couples.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's modern and clean inside. It's open plan, so the kitchen, dining and sitting area are all one room.
The garden is enclosed, which is handy if you've got dogs. It says two pets are allowed. There's parking right by the door and a shed for bikes.
You're out in the countryside here. It's quiet. There's local fishing on the River Brue if that's your thing. For shops and pubs, you'd drive into Glastonbury or Street.
From here, you can get to a lot of places in under half an hour. Glastonbury Tor is obvious. Wells is close. The coast at Burnham-on-Sea is about twenty minutes. Cheddar Gorge and Wookey Hole are nearby too.
For a longer day out, Bristol, Bath or the Somerset Levels are all within an hour's drive.
Things included: WiFi, TV, a dishwasher, bedding and towels. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
