The Old Haybarn
The Old Haybarn is in Knole, which is a small hamlet. It's a converted barn, so the ceilings are high in the main room. It's detached, so you've got the place to yourselves.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. The rating is 4 Star, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. The garden is private, with a patio and a barbecue. You can park two cars and there's an electric vehicle charger.
Inside, there's a wood burner in the living room. The kitchen is big and has a dishwasher. There's a separate utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer, which is handy for muddy boots. The shower is over the bath.
The location is quiet. You're about halfway between the Somerset coast and the Dorset coast, so you can choose. The Fleet Air Arm Museum is nearby if that's your sort of thing. Sherborne and Glastonbury are within about half an hour's drive. Wells Cathedral is about the same.
There's a local pub within walking distance. No pets allowed, sorry. We include bedding and towels. There's WiFi, a cot, and a highchair if you need them.
