Dairy House Farm
Dairy House Farm is in Bickenhall, Somerset. It's part of our farmhouse, which is about 250 years old. You get your own separate wing.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place. It's clean and comfortable, but it's an old building so don't expect everything to be brand new. The stairs are steep and a bit narrow. We've got a stairgate.
There's a wood burner in a big inglenook fireplace. That's the main source of heat, so you'll need to light it if you want the place properly warm. It's cosy once it's going. We leave wood for you.
The garden is enclosed, so it's safe for dogs. We take up to three pets. There's parking right outside.
There's a pub and a restaurant about a mile and a half walk down the lane. The nearest shop is in Staple Fitzpaine, about two miles away.
For things to do, you're in a good spot. The Quantock Hills are close. Exmoor National Park is about 45 minutes north. We're right near lots of walking paths. If you ride, we have a livery yard next door and can arrange stabling.
Taunton is 15 minutes east, Ilminster 10 minutes west. For a day out, Montacute House and Barrington Court are both within half an hour. The coast at Lyme Regis is about an hour's drive.
In the house you'll find a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and WiFi. All bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair.
