Greenfields

Greenfields is a cottage on our farm in Rawridge. It's a single-storey place, all on the ground floor. There's a ramp to get in so it's good for wheelchairs.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one wet room bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating.

The living room has patio doors that open onto a decked area. The deck is enclosed. There are steps down from there into the garden. You can sit out there and look across the Otter Valley. It's a nice view.

There's a carp lake on the farm that guests from all the cottages can use. You need a fishing license and barbless hooks if you want to fish. There's also a seating area by the lake for a picnic.

The farm has horses and sheep in the fields. We've got dogs and cats around too. You'll often see deer and lots of different birds.

There are plenty of footpaths around here. You can walk to the villages of Rawridge and Uppottery. We're in the Blackdown Hills, which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The Blackdown Hills website has walking maps.

For the coast, it's about a 30 minute drive to places like Sidmouth or Seaton. Lyme Regis and the Jurassic Coast are a bit further, maybe 40 minutes. The Jurassic Coast Trust site has information.

Facilities wise, it's got a dishwasher, washing machine, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need it. Parking is right outside. You can bring up to two dogs.

There are a couple of other cottages here on Primrose Farm. You can book them together if you're a bigger group.
