The Penthouse - Sunnymead
The Penthouse is on the top floor of a block called Sunnymead. It's the only flat up there, so it's quiet. You can hear seagulls sometimes. It's an apartment, not a cottage.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's nice and new. The space is open plan. The sofa's big enough for everyone to sit. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher.
You get a terrace all to yourself. It looks out over the town towards the Exe Estuary. Good spot for a drink in the evening when the sun's going down.
It's a short walk into Exmouth town, about five or ten minutes. The beach is sandy and it's two miles long. Lots of people do water sports there. The town has most things you'd need.
You can walk along the estuary from right in town. It's flat and the views are good. If you like birds, it's a decent spot. The South West Coast Path is on the doorstep.
There's golf at Exmouth Golf Club. You can park on site, which is handy.
You can have two dogs. We put a cot and a highchair in there for people who need them.
If you've got a bigger group, you can book the Sunnymead Studio downstairs as well. That sleeps two more.
For planning walks or visits: The Donkey Sanctuary is about twenty minutes away. The National Trust has places like A la Ronde nearby.
