It's a railway carriage. A real one, but it doesn't move. It's detached and set on its own bit of ground.
It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating, which is because it's been done up well. It's warm and dry.
The inside is open plan at one end. Kitchen, dining area, and sitting area all together. The bedrooms are down the carriage, so they're compact. The ceiling is low in the corridor. If you're very tall, you'll dip your head.
It's about a five minute walk to the beach at Dawlish Warren. It's sand and dunes. Good for a proper swim. There's a pub close by, and a golf course. The train station is right there, which is useful for a day out without the car. You can get to Exeter one way or Torquay the other in about twenty minutes.
For walks, the South West Coast Path runs through. You can follow it along the sea wall into Dawlish town. The National Trust looks after the nature reserve at the warren. Good for birdwatching.
Facilities: there's parking, WiFi, a TV, a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. No pets.
