It's a railway carriage, so the space is clever but not huge. It's open plan. The stairs inside are steep and a bit narrow. Just so you know.
You're right by the beach at Dawlish Warren. It's a few minutes walk. It's sandy and good for families. There's a pub nearby, and a golf course. The local shop is handy.
If you want to explore, you can get the train from Dawlish Warren station. It's about twenty minutes to Exeter one way, or twenty minutes to Torquay the other. It's very straightforward.
For a day out, Powderham Castle is about a fifteen minute drive. The National Trust has a lot of places nearby, like Parke or the coastline towards Prawle Point.
Facilities: there's a dishwasher, washing machine, parking right outside, and bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
