Hay Rick
Hay Rick is one of three barn conversions on our farm in Luton. The farm's about 300 acres. It's a working dairy farm, so you'll see the herd around. There are public footpaths through the land if you want a walk without driving.
It sleeps eight. There are four bedrooms and three bathrooms, which helps with a bigger group. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well-equipped, not luxury. The living and dining room is separate from the kitchen.
You get your own patio with a table and chairs. The view is across our fields. It's very quiet. The lane is used by us to get to the fields, but there's not much traffic.
The local pub is about 200 yards down the lane. They do food. The nearest shop is in Ideford, about two miles away.
For beaches, Teignmouth is under four miles. Dawlish Warren is a bit further and has a nature reserve as well as the beach. If you want to explore the coast, Torquay, Brixham and Dartmouth are all within about a 30 minute drive.
Dartmoor is about a 20 minute drive north. You can be up on the Tors quite quickly. Exeter and Plymouth are both within half an hour if you need a city or bigger shops.
On the facilities: all the bedding and towels are included. There's WiFi, a TV, a washing machine and a dishwasher. We can provide a cot and a highchair. There's parking right by the barn. No pets, I'm afraid.
