This is Wisteria in Bovey Tracey. It's one of three cottages here, all in a row around a courtyard. We live on site too, along with a smallholding and a few caravans.
It sleeps four, but honestly it's perfect for two. There's one bedroom with a double bed and a sofa bed in the living space. One bathroom with a shower. We’ve tried to make it eco-friendly, so it has solar panels and an air source heat pump.
The cottage looks out over our grounds, which are just over ten acres. You’re welcome to walk around them. It's right on the edge of Dartmoor, so you can step out the door and go walking. You’ll see the ponies. The River Dart is nearby and there are plenty of Tors to aim for.
Things are fairly quiet here. The local shop and a pub are about a mile away. For a bigger day out, Exeter isn't far. Castle Drogo and Lydford Gorge are close too, if you like that sort of thing.
Inside, it's open plan. There's a TV, WiFi, a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. You can park right outside and there's an electric vehicle charger if you need it. We allow one well-behaved dog. There's a cot and a highchair if required.
