This is Ilsington View. It's a bungalow, which is handy. No stairs. It's in Haytor Vale, up on the moor.
It sleeps four people. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. The shower is just a shower, no bath. There's underfloor heating downstairs, which is good in winter. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The place is open plan. Kitchen, living area, all in one space. That means if someone's cooking, they're not shut away. It can be a bit noisy if the telly's on and someone's trying to read, but mostly it's fine. The decoration is simple, nothing fussy. The patio out the back looks straight onto the moor. That's the main thing about it.
The village of Ilsington is about a mile away. There's a shop there, and a decent pub that does food. For a big supermarket, you'd drive to the A38, which is about ten minutes.
If you're here for the walking, you're sorted. Hay Tor is two miles up the road. You can see it from here. The moor starts at the end of the garden. For a longer day, Dartmoor National Park has all the routes. The coast at Torbay is about 45 minutes south if you fancy a change.
Facilities wise: it's all included. WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are here. There's parking right outside. You can bring up to two dogs.
